Linux or Windows

The only reasons people stick to windows is because they are familiar with it and some programs will only run on Windows. If you have an older computer at home that you don\'t use any more, why not try out a Linux distro? Unlike windows you have so many choices. One of the most popular ones these days is Linux Mint, which is very similar to Windows. For older slower machines, try Bodhi Linux. Give your old machines a new lease of life, don\'t condemn them to the scrap, it is more eco-friendly. And the best thing? Nearly all Linux distros and programs are free! If you only need to get online to work, surf watch films etc, upgrade to Linux, not a new PC. l still use Windows as my main because l have programs that will only run on Windoze at the moment but all my old machines run well on Linux. You can often try it out with a live option that you can run from a usb drive, and if you want you can make your machine a dual boot with Windows and Linux lnstall windows first, it won\'t play nicely if you install Linux first, it will wipe your Linux system. Linux will give you the choice or replace or dual boot!
